OUR JOURNEY

We will be rowing from Dania Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Florida to the Faroe Islands. It is a distance of approximately 4100 nautical miles and will follow the route of the Gulf Stream from its beginning to end.

We estimate that the journey will take about 70 days, depending on the weather we encounter. The trip is totally independant and we have no support vessel. All our equipment and food will be taken onboard. The boat is fitted with solar panels which will charge our batteries and these will run our navigation systems and, most importantly, our water maker. We will take food for 90 days.

Map of our journey

The saying

“Why would you do that?”

All 3 of the crew want to close up a thing or two. Before we move on to the next level in lift we are closing our friendship and row a “first time ever row”.

We take the Golf Stream and ride it from where it starts and ride it to the Faroe Islands.

Having all taken part in different ocean rows, and met through these incredible adventures, we now want to cement our friendship by attempting this new route together.
